Overview - 10X Molecular Sieves

10x molecular sieve powder 10X Molecular Sieve powder is used in 10x melecular sieve powder,which is used in dehumidification of oil-gas application.

The 10X molecular sieve is an absorbent for removal of H2O, H2S and CO2 in liquid and gas, as well as for paraffin separation. This molecular sieve desiccant is mainly applied to gas adsorption and refining liquid paraffin, removal of sulfur compounds, nitrogen compounds, organic acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and so on. It is extensively used to isolate kerosene and aromatic hydrocarbons in petrol fractions.

The 10X molecular sieve is also used to isolate cycloalkanes from petroleum distillates.

Typical Chemical Formula of This Molecular Sieve Desiccant:

Chemical Formula: 4/5CaO·1/5Na2O·Al2O3·(2.8±0.2) SiO2·(6-7)H2O

Silica-alumina Ratio: SiO2/ Al2O3≈2.6-3.0

Effective Aperture: about 9Å

Regeneration:

1. 10X molecular sieve can be regenerated for re-use by pressure swing purging, usually at elevated temperatures. The degree of regeneration (water removal) of this molecular sieve desiccant depends on pressure, temperature and moisture content. Use a dry purge gas at an inlet temperature of 200 to 350°C and a pressure of 0.3 to 0.5 kg/cm², and heat the molecular sieve bed. As the temperature in outlet reaches 110 to180°C, let the bed cool off.

2. We adopt water vapor instead of organic matter to remove moisture.

Storage of 10X Molecular Sieve Powder:

The relative humidity is not more than 90% of the indoor humidity. This zeolite should be far away from water, acid and alkali. Air isolation and sealing is quite necessary for storage.
